This illustration was inspired by the summer solstice. Alongside wild strawberry flowers throughout the border, I wanted to reference the longest day of the year with a series of insects found in Maine and a lupine featured in center.

Originally hand-drawn with digital colored pencil. Digitally-printed in Portland, Maine on matte paper; ships in a sturdy, 100% recycled mailer.
